Argo Technology Group Limited ("Argo", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you visit argotech.hk and how we use it.

Scope of this policy
This policy covers the website argotech.hk and any of its subdomains. It applies to information we collect about visitors and people who contact us through the site. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices.
Who we are
Argo Technology Group Limited is a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR. We operate this website. For privacy questions or to exercise any of the rights described below, write to us at billytse@argotechgroup.com.
Information we collect
We only collect information that you actively give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you write. We do not run any analytics, advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party social embeds on this site. We do not collect IP addresses for analytics purposes; standard server access logs may briefly retain them for security.
How we use your information
We use the information from the contact form solely to reply to your enquiry, to discuss a potential engagement with you, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use it for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Essential storage we use
We use two pieces of essential client-side storage to make the site work as you expect: a NEXT_LOCALE cookie set when you switch language, and a "theme" entry in your browser's localStorage when you choose a light, dark, or system theme. Both are functional / preference storage with no tracking purpose, and the site remains usable if you clear them. We do not set any advertising or analytics cookies.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of carefully chosen processors to operate the site: Vercel Inc. (USA) for hosting and content delivery, and Resend Inc. (USA) to deliver the email generated by the contact form to our inbox. These providers process the limited data we route through them on our behalf and are bound by their own data protection commitments. We do not use them for any other purpose.
International transfers
Because of the providers listed above, your contact-form submission may be processed on servers outside Hong Kong, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards for any such transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form correspondence for as long as it is reasonably useful for the conversation it relates to, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you reach out again. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for a legal reason.
Your rights under the PDPO
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to receive a copy of it, to ask us to correct any inaccuracy, and to ask us to stop using it. To make a request, email billytse@argotechgroup.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no fee for a reasonable request. If you visit the site from the EU, equivalent rights under the GDPR are available to you on the same terms.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the contact form is delivered via an authenticated transactional email provider. No transmission over the internet is ever fully secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive through the form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected on the page in plain language.
